Dr. Raghu Kamineni, MD, FACC

Dr. Kamineni received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences, India.  His internship and residency in Internal Medicine were completed at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, the Mayo Clinics in Scottsdale, Arizona and Rochester, Minnesota.  He finished his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Arizona, Health Sciences Center in Tucson, Arizona. He then completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Kamineni is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He has co-authored two medical textbooks and has been published in peer-reviewed journals.  He is the Medical Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab and the Physician Champion for Acute Heart Attack Care at Salem Hospital.  He is married with two children.


Dr. James Philip Lowry, MD, FACC

Dr. Lowry graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine.  He completed residence in Internal Medicine at the Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio and University Medical Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.  He completed fellowship training in Cardiology at the Good Samaritan Medical Center/Phoenix, V.A., Phoenix, Arizona.  He has also completed training in Interventional Cardiology at the Cardiovascular Institute of the South, in Houma, Louisiana.

Dr. Lowry is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.  He is married with two children.


Dr. Kamran Ghalili, MD, FACC

Dr. Ghalili attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York where he received his medical degree.  He then went to Boston University and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.  He also completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the New York Medical College. 

He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.  Dr. Ghalili also completed training in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT Angiograms and Peripheral Vascular Interventions.  He has been a primary investigator for multiple clinical research studies, including drug-eluting stents.  Dr. Ghalili came to Oregon in 2006, and has two children.


Dr. Matthew C. Fedor, MD, FACC

Dr. Fedor received his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.  His internship and residency training in Internal Medicine as well as his fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology were completed at the New York University Medical School in New York, NY.

He is Board Certified in both Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.  Dr. Fedor has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national meetings of the American College of Cardiology.  He has been a primary investigator of multiple clinical trials relating to arrhythmia and cardiac device therapy.  He performs cardiac device implantations and ablation procedures for control of abnormal heart rhythm including atrial fibrillation.

He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Electrophysiology section at Salem Hospital and is married with two children.


Dr. Hrishi Iyengar, MD, FACC

 

Dr. Iyengar comes to us from Tucson Arizona. He received his medical degree from Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s Medical College in India. He proceeded to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine; followed by his fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology from the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.

He specializes in clinical and interventional Cardiology with expertise in both coronary and peripheral vascular intervention. Dr. Iyengar is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. He is married with one child


Dr. Priya Kansal, MD, FACC

 

Dr. Kansal completed her internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She acquired a second fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplant at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Kansal is Board Certified in internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiovascular disease, advanced heart failure, and transplant cardiology. Her expertise in women and heart disease is an excellent addition to the community. Dr. Kansal is also welcomed into Salem Health’s Heart and Vascular Institute as the “first” female cardiologist. Dr. Kansal is married with one child.


Christine Magill, PA-C

 

Christine Magill, PA-C is a certified physician assistant with a specialty in cardiology. Ms. Magill works alongside Salem Heart Center, PC’s team of cardiologists, who are dedicated to the highest standard of patient care and education.

She is a graduate of Loma Linda University and worked as an internal medicine physician assistant prior to joining Salem Heart Center, PC in October 2012. Christine is married with one child.
